Hi Jan
I wanted to pass along my thanks for the recent health/diet updates. Although I have not read through the entire 4 sections, I have selected certain areas of interest to read. I found it well researched and written.
There is so very much helpful information. As an example, I had been feeding my 3 year old Bulldog Canidae lamb and rice dry food, until they very recently changed the formulation which he does not tolerate well. I now have him on [one of your top brands] and my decision was largely based on what I read in your update.
He is doing so much better now and I will continue feeding it to him. The section about home made diets has me thinking that I might try that at some future point in time.
Hope little Archie is well - but I guess he is not so little now!
Best regards,

Jan -
I would like to take the moment to thank you. I have always taken pride in feeding my dog the very best of foods as he is such a loved member of our family.
I immediately took him off the food.
Within a week I saw a change in his coat as well as energy level. I thank you so very much for opening my eyes. Oh and so does Harley because he loves his new food.
You are the best!

Hi Jan,
Emma was in rough shape with the mange when she came from the humane shelter a few months ago, but doing much better now. Just a few lingering things.
Your book is a great reference tool with lots of info. You have quite a bit of expertise on the subject. Best part is that you really care about their health & well being. As an animal lover myself, I can really appreciate it.
Thanks,

Hi Jan,
Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful resources you emailed to me with regard to nutrition, supplements, and recommended commercial (trustworthy) foods.
My best,

Her skin is wonderful, no issues there. Her eyes are really wide and very clear, so we shouldn't have any issues there.
I'm very blessed that I got such a wonderful dog. Her grandmother is still alive and is doing wonderfully at 12, so I think we'll have a long happy life together.
Thanks again

There are many great sources, but the benefits of food to a very food driven breed is invaluable. If more people considered that these aren't $50 dogs and that their initial cost hardly amounts to the costs of great quality of life for you and your pet, I really think a lot of these issues would not be issues. There's a lot to be said for what and how you feed your dog.
Buying anything on line can be touchy. Well done and thanks for your continuing interest to help educate and keep dialogue open. We look forward to future publications
